Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk

1. Eligibility and electronic acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into this agreement to create an account, accept this waiver, and use the onboarding flow. By checking the legal acceptance box and continuing, you agree that your acceptance is an electronic signature and that the acceptance record may be used as evidence of your agreement.

If you are using Longevity Labs on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to provide information and accept these terms for that use.

2. Educational wellness platform

Longevity Labs provides educational wellness information, health-data organisation tools, biomarker explanations, and access to optional third-party products and practitioners. Longevity Labs does not provide emergency care, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or personalised medical care through the onboarding flow or AI assistant.

You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to medication, treatment, supplements, diet, exercise, or any other health routine. If you have urgent symptoms or a medical emergency, call 111 in New Zealand, 000 in Australia, or your local emergency number immediately.

3. Known and ordinary risks

You understand that wellness services, biomarker testing, wearable data, document uploads, AI-generated summaries, and educational recommendations can be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or misunderstood. Health information can also change over time and may require professional review.

You assume the ordinary risks of using educational wellness information, ordering optional tests, uploading or relying on health documents, connecting wearable or device data, and choosing whether to discuss information from the platform with an independent practitioner.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information, reviewing outputs before relying on them, seeking professional medical advice for health concerns, and using the platform only for lawful personal purposes.

You agree not to delay or avoid professional medical care because of information shown by Longevity Labs. You also agree not to use the platform to diagnose a condition, treat a disease, manage a medical emergency, or replace a relationship with a qualified healthcare provider.

5. Release within legal limits

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you release Longevity Labs and its officers, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims arising from the ordinary risks described in this waiver and from your voluntary use of the platform.

Nothing in this waiver excludes, restricts, or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or limited. This includes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or reckless conduct where it cannot be waived, privacy obligations, professional obligations, and non-excludable rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Australian Consumer Law, or other applicable consumer-protection laws.

6. Independent practitioners and third parties

Practitioners, laboratories, payment processors, shipping providers, and other third-party services may have their own terms, privacy notices, clinical obligations, and professional responsibilities. Longevity Labs is not responsible for independent clinical decisions made by practitioners outside the platform.

You should read any third-party terms before buying a service, ordering a test, attending a consultation, or sharing additional information with a practitioner or provider.

7. Related documents

This waiver is part of the onboarding legal acceptance flow. Your use of Longevity Labs is also governed by the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
